Luciano de Liberato
Luciano de Liberato lives and works in Chieti, Italy. He has a scientific education that led to a decade of professional activity in architecture and design, interrupted only for his passion for art. He began working in art back in 1975, immediately arousing much interest among the most prominent Italian art critics and historians, by whom he was considered a painting young master and one of the great Italian colourists. De Liberato has more than 40 personal exhibitions, among these also the prestigious “Art Basel” in 1983 and 1984. After a rich activity at national and international scale, with prestigious appearances he decided to continue his art research in total isolation.
Since 1994 he uses a unique and highly personal language, as well as authentic poetics that are away from fashions and mannerist trends. Since 2004 he uses the computer as a tool aimed at the processing and improvement of preparatory sketches used to create his artworks. In 2011 he’s been invited at Padiglione Italia of the Biennale di Venezia. In 2012 one of his artworks was selected, among more than 60’000 artists worldwide, as an image for Lincoln Centre Festival in New York, which brought his works to global notoriety.
Art on Fashion® is honoured to be showcasing the works of Luciano de Liberato.
